USDA warns about fraudulent organic certified
This is a seed producer located in Cameroon (Africa)
The Department of Agriculture United States, through the NOP (National Organic Program), alerted the community about the circulation of a fraudulent certified organic producer of Cameroon (Africa) by a false body certification.
The fraudulent certification called Agose Culture falsely certifies products under the NOP regulations, thus violating the law of organic food production in 1990. The case was reported to the NOP by an accredited certifier.
The NOP reported that there was no evidence of products sold, labeled or represented as organic using the fraudulent certificate. However, the NOP encourages the different agents to continue to alert to them about these deceptive practices that violate USDA organic regulations.
