OIA is present at the largest fair of organic production, in the Argentine Pavilion, along with many companies that rely on it, from February 14 to 17 in Nuremberg, Germany.
BIOFACH, the world’s leading trade fair for organic food, opened its doors in Nuremberg on February 14 until February 17, 2023 together with VIVANESS, the international trade fair for natural and organic personal care. After the only summer edition held at the end of July 2022, the organic food and natural and organic cosmetics sectors are once again coming together for their annual meeting. The new schedule from Tuesday to Friday was maintained. After having been integrated into the BIOFACH halls only for the summer edition, VIVANESS returned to Hall 3C.
Since 1990 the Nuremberg Exhibition Center has been the place where people share their passionate interest in organic food, meet and exchange views. OIA will be there with its stand (2-411) accompanying organic production in the Argentina Pavilion.
Around 2,700 exhibitors
“We are looking forward to bringing the organic food and natural and organic cosmetics and organic food communities together again in Nürnberg and offering them a framework for innovation and transformation, inspiration and networking. In 2023, our international trade visitors will be able to enjoy the extensive product showcase of some 2,700 exhibitors, 200 of them at VIVANESS,” says Danila Brunner, Director of BIOFACH and VIVANESS. “Especially in these times, it is more important than ever to meet and exchange ideas and knowledge in person, and to look to the future to pave the way for the issues that will define it. In other words, to pave the way together!”
Ecology. Food sovereignty. Real prices.
With its central theme “Ecology. Food Sovereignty. Real prices.”, the BIOFACH Congress provides a global knowledge platform for transformation. The thematic content was organized jointly with BIOFACH’s international sponsor, IFOAM – Organics International, and the national supporting organization BÖLW, the German Federation of Organic Food Producers. The focus is on urgent questions: What contribution can the organic system make to food security and food sovereignty? How can “real prices”, i.e. those including the consequent ecological costs, pave the way for implementing the necessary transformation of the agri-food industry?
The VIVANESS Congress, with its comprehensive program and wide range of sessions, also offers the opportunity for debate, dialogue and knowledge transfer. In the various forums, the focus is on important topics for the future. As in the single summer edition in 2022, all participants have the opportunity to watch parts of the BIOFACH and VIVANESS congresses live via the digital platform. Added value
At BIOFACH and VIVANESS 2023, participants can immerse themselves in the diverse product range of a highly international mix of exhibitors, expand their knowledge, network on site and chat in person. In addition, the digital expansion of the combined event again offers the greatest possible added value in 2023. These digital tools allow exhibitors to present their companies and products on their corporate profiles, while the matchmaking function helps users to establish contacts and arrange and conduct meetings within the platform. Parts of the congress can also be viewed live or as on-demand videos. These and other functions help participants to effectively organize their trade fair visit, from the initial preparations to the subsequent long-term follow-up.
