The province of Córdoba presented, through a videoconference, the 2020 cycle of the Provincial Good Agricultural Practices Program (GAPs). This year includes a points system according to which producers who comply with the indicated premises will receive the economic incentives determined by the program.
The initiative, as reported by the provincial government, has a total of 12 practices, which are divided into 3 thematic axes: Person Axis, Planet Axis and Prosperity Axis. Each one has an assigned score that the producer can validate.
Depending on the scores that each one accumulates, you will receive an amount of money as an incentive. For this cycle that is beginning, the budget assigned by the Executive is $ 180 million. “Depending on the amount of these practices that you can validate through the program’s online platform, you will receive a cash incentive from the province, and a poster to hang on the gate of each of its production units, in case the same owner owns or works more than one establishment. The latter, as a communication to society to show that the actors in the sector work with conscience and social commitment ”, they detailed from the province.
