Enrollment for the Technicature in Organic Plant Production opens in Lincoln

It is the result of an agreement with the UBA and depends on the School of Agronomy.

In Lincoln, enrollment is open for the Technicatura in Organic Vegetable Production. This course is offered free of charge, with a duration of 3 years and is dictated in agreement with the School of Agronomy of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA).

Enrollment can be done online at https://www.agro.uba.ar/alumnos/inscripciones from February 8 to 17. Classes will start in August. Those who wish to receive information may call 2355 697959 or go to the Culture and Education annex building (Massey and Moreno), Monday to Friday from 8 to 12 hours.

It should be noted that this will be the second cohort of this technical course that landed in Lincoln as part of the agreement that Mayor Salvador Serenal signed with the Faculty of Agronomy of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA).

THE CAREER

The course is offered free of charge and lasts 3 years. A Technician in Organic Plant Production is a professional trained to deal with all the instances inherent to the different production systems in different areas, both in terms of pampas prairie, as well as in extensive crops such as cereals, oilseeds and fodder, in addition to training on national organic regulations.

This career aims to train professionals with scientific and technological knowledge, capable of performing diagnostic tasks, advice and training to organic producers and those who wish to convert their conventional production system to organic in any regional economy, not only in the production of food but also in the textile and cosmetics areas.
