The non-profit project, Coctelería Consciente, presents a geolocation map for sustainable places to have a drink or eat around the world

Within the framework of the International Day of Responsible Consumption, which is commemorated this Tuesday, March 15, Coctelería Consciente presents the first Map of the world that geolocates all the bars, cafes, breweries, distilleries, hotels and restaurants that are implementing sustainable initiatives, inclusive and healthy in their daily operations.

The Map of Conscious Cocktails is its most recent initiative, the first map of the world where you can find easily, online and free those establishments that are already implementing conscious initiatives. Bars, cafes and restaurants can register from today 100% free of charge by completing the initiatives they are carrying out in a form. They can choose from a single initiative to all the options within the eight available categories:

“Today the public increasingly chooses to consume in a conscious and responsible way, supporting those brands and projects that are in tune with their values. Many bars, cafes and restaurants are already implementing these and other important initiatives, but generally with very little visibility,” he explains. HOW TO USE THE MAP

In the Mappa, the user will be able to search by location, keyword, type of establishment or product, category and/or conscious initiatives, finding conscious and inclusive places and products near them. For example, they might look for a solar or wind-powered cafe near their home, a restaurant serving non-alcoholic beer for lunch near work, or a bar that has a farm-to-table menu to share after office with a friend. vegan.

In the same way, they will also be able to choose those places with accessibility for wheelchairs, menus in braille, respect for the LGTBQ+ community, staff trained in gender and intersectionality, free parking for bicycles, among others.

At the same time, they will be able to support businesses that buy from fair trade producers, cooperatives, foundations and/or organic, bulk or zero kilometer products.

WHAT IS A CONSCIOUS COCKTAIL

Conscious Cocktails is the first non-profit cocktail project that seeks to insert sustainability, healthy habits and responsible consumption into people’s DNA through bars, drinks and cocktails.

The Conscious Cocktails team has already toured more than 40 cities visiting the best bars, restaurants and festivals in the world, conducting free seminars and workshops on sustainability, inclusive cocktails, healthy habits and responsible consumption.
